Safe everyday life for children and young people – city-wide parents’ evening on 27 November 2025

Come and join us for a remote event organised by the City of Helsinki on Thursday 27 November 2025 from 17.00 to 18.15.

The target group of the event includes the parents and guardians of primary and lower secondary school pupils. The topic of the event is safety at school and how schools can build safety together with parents and guardians. We will send the invitation and link to the event to the parents and guardians of primary and lower secondary school pupils in a Wilma bulletin.

The programme for the evening features expert presentations by the City of Helsinki, the Helsinki Police Department and the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL). Parents and guardians will be able to ask questions in Finnish, Swedish and English in the event chat, and the event organisers will answer their questions. After the presentations, we will choose a few of the questions or comments submitted via the chat for the experts to discuss.
