The target group of the event includes the parents and guardians of primary and lower secondary school pupils. The topic of the event is safety at school and how schools can build safety together with parents and guardians. We will send the invitation and link to the event to the parents and guardians of primary and lower secondary school pupils in a Wilma bulletin.
The programme for the evening features expert presentations by the City of Helsinki, the Helsinki Police Department and the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL). Parents and guardians will be able to ask questions in Finnish, Swedish and English in the event chat, and the event organisers will answer their questions. The presentations will be in Finnish, but the materials will also be available in Swedish and English. We will record the event and release it later on the Helsinki Channel, with subtitles in several languages.
