Aleksis Kiven katu to open for traffic – renovation nearing completion

All modes of transport will be able to return to Aleksis Kiven katu on 3 November. Buses 500 and 510, as well as tram line 9, which have been on alternative routes since March, will also return to their normal routes. The project will be completed well ahead of schedule by the end of 2025.

The trees along the historic lime tree avenue on Aleksis Kiven katu between Fleminginkatu and Harjukatu were replaced, and there are now more of them than before.
