Uutela Forest Nature Trail

Forest species present diversity in colourful information boards along a nature trail.

Uutela Forest Nature Trail is a two-kilometre-long trail that is marked with orange cone symbols. The nature trail runs through the Uutela forest nature reserve. The nature trail has 12 information boards, which describe the Uutela forest and its species in a fun way. You can join the Forest Nature Trail from many different directions, such as from the Uutelantie road or at the Nuottaniemi cooking shelter.

The nature trail runs on a stone ash-covered forest path and there are some elevation differences along it. The route is not maintained in the winter, and there is no lighting.
