Residents of Helsinki have the right to vote only in the municipal elections.
Advance voting has ended. You can still vote on the official election day, Sunday 13 April.

New 2025–2029 City Council term of office

The Helsinki City Council is Helsinki’s highest decision-making body. It is responsible for the city’s operations and finances. In the municipal elections, decision-makers, councillors, and their deputies are elected to serve on the council for a four-year term.
