Autumn 2025 influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations

  • People aged 65 and over can book an appointment for influenza and COVID-19 vaccination in Maisa (maisa.fi and the Maisa app) or by phone at +358 9 310 46300 on weekdays from 8.00–16.00 (no call-back service).
  • Unfortunately, the telephone booking service is currently congested. We recommend calling again later, for example a few days from now.
  • For those under 65, appointment booking opens on 8 October in both Maisa and by phone.

Screening for cervical cancer

Every five years, we invite all women aged 25-65 living in Helsinki to cervical cancer screenings.

The purpose of cervical cancer screening is to identify the early stage of possible cervical cancer and treat it as early as possible. This prevents the actual cancer from developing.

For people aged 30 years and older, the screening is based on an HPV test. For people under the age of 30, the screening is based on a Pap smear test.

An invitation to the screening will be sent by post to your home address. The test is free of charge.

The screening is carried out by the HUS Diagnostic Centre.
