Autumn 2025 influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations

  • People aged 65 and over can book an appointment for influenza and COVID-19 vaccination in Maisa (maisa.fi and the Maisa app) or by phone at +358 9 310 46300 on weekdays from 8.00–16.00 (no call-back service).
  • Unfortunately, the telephone booking service is currently congested. We recommend calling again later, for example a few days from now.
  • For those under 65, appointment booking opens on 8 October in both Maisa and by phone.

Service centre for HIV positive

Aurora Day Centre offers health and social services to HIV-positive injection drug users.

We support our clients in reducing substance abuse, and promote their inclusion, health and well-being.

Our services include medication (for example HIV medicines and substitution treatment), doctor and nurse's appointments, laboratory services, health guidance and social work.

The Day Centre offers customers a sense of community in addition to group and peer activities.

The HUS Infectious Diseases Outpatient Clinic is in charge of HIV treatment and steers clients to visit us.

  • The entrance has a ramp over 6 m long with an intermediate landing, with handrails on both sides.
  • The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door requires the use of a buzzer, opening easily manually.

In the facility

  • The customer service point is on the entrance floor.
  • The customer service point has directions to the different facilities.
  • The doors in the customer service point stand out clearly. The glass doors have contrast markings.
  • The waiting room of the customer service point has a queue number system and seats.
  • The customer service point has an accessible toilet on the same floor.
