The Kontula Health Counselling Point is open on weekdays from 10.00-15.00. You do not need to be sober or give your name when using our services.
It offers clients health counselling and referrals to other substance abuse services. Clients can also exchange used equipment for clean ones at the service point, helping to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
The services of the health counselling point are free of charge and do not require an appointment.
Our services include
- Health counselling
- Needle and syringe exchange and information on safe injection practices
- Rapid HIV and HCV tests, STD tests and pregnancy tests
- Vaccines
- Treatment needs assessment.
More extensive services for substance users are available at the Symppis centres in Itäkeskus and Sörnäinen.
